Karn Manhas
Founder and Executive Chair, Terramerra (Canada)
Karn Manhas is a founder-scientist and pragmatic visionary working to grow healthier food on healthier land by developing and integrating technologies that align increases in profit with the health of nature.

His mission is to have fun enriching our Earth from the ground up and to transform the economics of food, agriculture and land management.

At Terramera, he built a portfolio of 300+ patents, including a “real-life tricorder” based on the most advanced Raman spectroscopy instrument ever created, turning invisible soil and plant signals into usable intelligence. Out of that, he launched Miraterra with a simple, driving belief: agriculture, nutrition, food security, and climate resilience all begin with SOIL.

Today he is catalyzing how we understand and regenerate soils using AI and science — so farmers can produce more, earn more, and restore ecosystems at scale. A frequent speaker at global forums, Karn is known for turning bold ideas into practical tools and for the joy he brings to illuminating how our world works.
His goal is simple but big: help evolve human systems to a regenerative paradigm, from the ground up.
