Wayne Farmer

Wayne Farmer is the President of the Canada-ASEAN Business Council (CABC), and Managing Partner of a boutique advisory firm with over 20 years of experience in pan-Asian and global private equity. Wayne has originated approximately $US3-billion of deal flows and leads the firm’s capital and fundraising relationships, industry market intelligence gathering, and deal execution for clients.

Wayne is also a Strategic Advisor to GE Equity Asia / CelerateX / Red Core Geothermal and Lombard Asia. He holds a successful track record of launching corporate, entrepreneurial and public policy ventures with a high level of dedication to outcomes.

Wayne is an engaging speaker and an articulate policy advocate practiced in government relations, with an established commitment to the development of ASEAN. He is a graduate of Queen’s University; Ivey Business School; Singapore Management University; and a permanent resident of both Singapore and Hong Kong SAR.
