Chris Lane

Chris Lane is the recently appointed president & CEO of Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership (STEP).

Most recently, he served as the president & CEO at Economic Development Regina (EDR), the agency tasked with driving investment attraction, sector growth, and leading a co-operative approach to marketing Regina around the world. Prior to leading EDR, Chris was CEO at Canadian Western Agribition, one of North America’s premier agricultural events and international marketplaces.

Chris graduated from the University of Regina in 2002 with a degree in journalism and spent 15 years working in local and national news across Canada. He is an active community leader, serving on multiple boards and holds an ICD.D designation for expertise in governance and board dynamics.
